The Studio is guaranteed open to the public, with Janet on-site, every weekend. Her Studio is also open by chance Wednesday, Thursday and Friday depending on her exhibiting schedule.  Appointments for specific times and days are available 7 days a week. Artwork in her Studio is for sale.  Delivery in the GTA for larger works is available.

Janet also exhibits extensively in Public and Private Galleries in juried, group, and solo exhibits. As a result, artworks found on this website may be in several locations at any given time.

Interest in sales can be expressed through the "Contact Information" page using the form. Janet recommends that all artwork be personally viewed before purchase, and is happy to make arrangements for a personal viewing before any decision is made.

Artworks are in oil, impressionistic in style, and often pushed to realism or pulled to abstraction. Dramatic light is her signature. Canvas is used exclusively for a base of texture, often enhanced with various mediums.  Her artworks vary in size and price for a wide demographic.   A comprehensive description of Janet's formal training, style and inspirations, with recent lists (2012 to 2017) of her exhibits, awards, and publications, can be found on the "Biography" page.  Previous years available on request.

Janet is recognized for her artwork painted in Collections. One concept, location or time frame, may be delivered by using multiple canvases to symbolically deliver one idea. The artwork is painted, and installed, in a specific order. The canvases transition from one to the next, and the Collection viewed in its entirety tells the story. She is an emotional painter with the subject matter being from a personal connection and meaning.

Janet's home base of The Alton Mill Arts Centre is approximately 45 minutes outside of Toronto (GTA), to the north-west.  Easy access via Hwy 410  brings you to Hwy 10 (Caledon), only minutes from the village of Alton.
